Down-Sizing #9

butterThat, my friends is 5 Kg’s of butter.

I know you will try and convince me that 5kg’s of butter is not the same as 5 kg’s of body fat, that you loose a lot of water… blah blah blah (and for the record 1kg of water is 1 LITRE).

I have lost 5kg’s and am proud of it. I cant really see any difference when I look in the mirror, but then I get to see myself every day. It is more difficult to see gradual changes.

A bit static this week, but I don’t care. In case you missed it I HAVE LOST 5KG’s.

Keep at it, even if it makes no impression on the weight, then at least it is getting you out of the house and raising your fitness levels

I have a horrible feeling that you somehow telly transported those 5kg to me. I think I would like to return it as soon as possible! Keeping very far from scales for the next…. well year! Very proud of you Ron!

Thanks Kath. I promise I never meant to teleport anything :(

I’ve noticed the difference!!! Though not quite like in the way you’ve depicted it :)

But you have been slacking………….. time to crack the whip again! I’ll have to put it on the honeydo list. He he he.

Oh the honeydo list yes um, are you going to explain why there was no honeydo list post on sunday?

    Hey Ron
Well done on loosing 5kg’s, but as you say – how do you know it’s 5kgs of FAT, or only WATER or a combo of both?
I have a new (expensive) machine in my practice (BIA = Bioelectrical Impedence) that accurately measures EXACTLY THAT! If you are interested, then give me a call.

I might just do that. Although I should probably start with an accurate scale :) I have to stand on the scale in the same way each time to get a relative reading. I can change it by stepping on with the other foot first :(

That’s a lot of butter. Did you buy it all just to take the photo? How long do you think it will take you to eat is all :)

It is a beautiful photo – and hey Well done!

Are you enjoying your lighter down-sized self? Keep up the good work.

ps I have a scale like that. It can vary by .2 or .6! Not very encouraging when you stand on it the 2nd time hoping it will get lower and it actually goes higher!

grin (about the scale). My mom makes brownies that she sells to some of the cape town schools tuck shops, she buys in bulk. I saw about 40 bricks in the fridge and just had to take this photo.
