Jerk or Justified? – Farrari Fail!
I’m the guy who won’t park in the mom’s and babies/toddlers parking bays because I am not a mom, even when I have to juggle a three year old and a baby on my own. I also like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But sometimes it is hard not to jump to conclusions. So if the car in the photo’s below is yours and you disagree with my assessment of your character, feel free to comment below and have your voice heard.
The conclusion I jumped to in this case is that some people think that they are important (or rich) enough that the rules of common decency that govern the rest of us somehow don’t apply to them.
Last Thursday I had to fetch a colleague from doctor’s appointment at Vincent Pallotti Hospital outside of Pinelands. As I was negotiating the parking lot I saw this car:

Like most guys (and not a few women) my first reaction was “sweet ride”. But then I noted that the parking bay he (or it might just as easily been a she) had used was one demarcated for disabled people.

Not cool.
And don’t give me “It was an emergency”. If you, or your passenger was bleeding all over your leather interior, then fine, double park outside the emergency exit, but leave these bays for the people who really need them.
And, yes, there was no ‘disabled’ sticker in or on the car. I looked!
Jerk or Justified? What do you think?
…more like an IDIOT!
Jerk! Completely and without exception!
But Ron – perhaps not physically disabled, but mentally disabled – certainly!
